Two mechanical engineering students from the Faculty of Industrial Technology at Universitas Trisakti participated in the ESHARK ROK Cup Indonesia 2026 Round 2 national karting race, which took place on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at the Sentul International Karting Circuit.

The first racer, Reza Aditiya Octavian (Mechanical Engineering 2022), a member of the TMED Racing Team Trisakti, put on an impressive performance in the University Shifter class. Driving kart number 561, Reza finished the race in fifth place amid stiff competition from participants from various universities.

Meanwhile, the second racer, Erick Sanjaya (Mechanical Engineering 2023), driving kart number 543, also demonstrated high fighting spirit throughout the competition. Although he ended the race with a DNF (Did Not Finish), his participation provided valuable experience for national-level competition.

The participation of these two students demonstrates the commitment of Universitas Trisakti’s Mechanical Engineering students to developing their potential in non-academic fields, particularly motorsports. Their achievements and experiences are expected to inspire other students to continue excelling and competing boldly in various competitions.
