Jakarta, June 3, 2026 – The Faculty of Industrial Technology (FTI) of Universitas Trisakti received an industrial and study visit from students and accompanying teachers from SMKN 1 Simpang Pematang, Mesuji Regency, Lampung Province. This activity aimed to broaden the participants’ insights into the world of higher education and the increasingly dynamic development of industrial technology.

During the activity, participants participated in an interactive discussion session that explored various global career opportunities and prospects in the industrial technology field. Through this session, SMK students gained an overview of the competencies required in the modern industrial era and various career development opportunities at the national and international levels.

In addition, participants also gained an understanding of how the knowledge learned in school can be integrated with university learning and its application in the industrial world. The material presented provided insight into the importance of mastering theory, practical skills, and the ability to adapt to technological developments.

As part of the visit, the group was invited to explore various laboratory facilities within the Faculty of Industrial Technology (FTI) at Universitas Trisakti. Specifically, in the Mechanical Engineering Department, participants had the opportunity to visit the Production Process Laboratory and the Physical Metallurgy Laboratory and to see firsthand the various equipment and practical activities that support student learning and research.

Through this activity, it is hoped that students will gain inspiration and motivation to continue their education to a higher level and prepare themselves to face the challenges and opportunities in the future industrial world.
