Curriculum
The Mechanical Engineering Undergraduate Extension Program is carried out for 4 semesters with 29 courses with a total of 67 credits. The total number of credits for graduates is 144 with 77 credits taken from the conversion of D-3 transcripts.
The courses that must be taken consist of face-to-face courses, structured courses, practicums, and final assignments.
Concentration courses are presented in semesters 3 and 4. Taking these concentration courses is in accordance with the field of specialization desired by the student.
1. Face-to-face lectures are held on:
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
- Friday was prepared as a substitute lecture.
2. The division of days and class schedules are divided into 2 :
- Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday lectures for the Odd Year Class.
- Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday lectures for the Even Year Class.
There are two face-to-face sessions in one meeting. Meetings are held every two weeks for each course. The week in between is filled with structured assignments that are done online.
3. The Mid-Semester Examination (UTS) and the Final Semester Examination (UAS) are held on lecture days and hours. UTS or UAS can be done on another day if they clash with a national holiday or enter the end of the semester.
4. Learning time
- Monday to Friday starting from 18.30 to 21.00 WIB
- Saturday is divided into 2 lecture sessions :
- Morning: 08.30 to 11.30 WIB
- Afternoon: 12.30 to 15.30 WIB
5. Practicum is conducted on Saturday morning and afternoon according to the schedule and the day that has been determined. The practicum time is the same as the lecture on Saturday.

Starting from semester 3, extension undergraduate (S-1) students must have determined one of the available specializations to adjust the concentration courses to be taken. Furthermore, the topic of the final project and the selection of the final project supervisor must be in accordance with the chosen specialization.
Students who have taken the Final Project and Final Project Proposal courses should choose a final project supervisor and register with the Coordinator lecturer for the Proposal and Final Project Seminar and attend the briefing program determined by the coordinator. If necessary, a co-supervisor can be appointed with the approval of the main supervisor. For a final project whose research is carried out at an institution outside the Trisakti campus, an external supervisor can be appointed.
