The Mechanical Engineering Bachelor Program has 3 (three) majors of study/concentrations, namely:

Those who take the engineering construction specialization after graduation are expected to be able to plan machines and their components, as well as be able to analyze the workings and performance of a machine tool. Besides that, they are also expected to be able to analyze the strength of machine components and be able to analyze the static stability and dynamic stability of a machine tool.

This specialization also includes the field of industrial automation, where graduates are expected to be able to plan automation systems to control industrial machines, especially those based on pure or electric pneumatics and hydraulics.

Concentration in energy conversion learn science and technology in energy conservation which includes the phenomena and principles of fluid systems, thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer, cooling systems, and air conditioning. Students who take this field of energy conversion, after graduation, are expected to be able to master the operating principles of Energy Conversion Systems, such as Turbines (Steam, Gas, Water), Motor Fuels, Cooling and Drying Machines, Pumps and Compressors, Solar Energy, all of which convert the original form of energy into electrical and mechanical and other energy that is useful for meeting the needs of the community. So that research in this field includes the development and utilization of methods in energy conversion and conservation.

Engineering activities are activities that include design and manufacture. To carry out this activity, the knowledge that is structured in a system is needed, namely engineering science, and practical knowledge related to methods, habits, skills in carrying out work, namely technology.

In the context of the realization of various machines and factory equipment, engineering science and technology are needed as appropriate complements, namely manufacturing engineering (production engineering) which emphasizes the meaning of its production activities or more commonly known, namely production techniques that highlight its practical nature. Because this activity is actually a combination of various multidisciplinary activities, some people want the system aspect to be highlighted so that it is called a production system engineering activity.

This concentration also focuses its program on engineering processes, which in its application involve 3 (three) main problems, namely design, materials (materials), and process technology. In engineering the construction of machine buildings, a number of engineering materials are needed, especially ferrous metals such as iron and steel, non-ferrous metals, ceramics, polymers, elastomers, and composites, including new engineering materials. Thus, students need to be equipped with more specialized knowledge about design, materials, and process technology.
